One of Armadale’s newest additions is Gardiner and Field. Gorgeous simple fit out, modest breakfast and lunch menu with a few interesting additions like the quinoa and pumpkin fritters with hummus on flatbread ($16), or the baked strawberry and raspberry tortillas ($14).
What stood out for us here though, was the coffee. Flavoursome, not too strong and consistent, thus a welcome addition to Melbourne’s coffee club. In addition, find home made jams, honey and condiments for sale, as well as fresh eggs and sourdough bread from Woodfrog Bakery. Plus, a decent selection of cakes, cookies, slices and flat breads to chomp on on the run so, have a field day!
