This discovery on Clarendon Street keeps us coming back for more…more Chicken Pho’ ($12) and Chicken Schnitzel sandwiches ($9.80), that is. 219 Cafe Bar (formal name) but referred to as Cafe 219, is a modest Cafe/Deli, run by the man simply known to all his patrons as Joe. Find filling well-priced sandwiches, noodle and rice based Asian dishes, as well as flavourful and wholesome snacks like Rice Paper rolls ($7.50) – apparently some of the best going round.
For a warming winter meal, comfort food and a truly satisfying feed, we can’t recommend Cafe 219 more.
