Review: Hawk and Hunter
by Decisive CravingsSouthside food hunters with keen eyes, if you’re after your next feed, we know where you can find it.
Hawk and Hunter is another addition to the Tommy Collins Group – super caterer’s and the people behind one of bayside’s most exciting cafe’s, The Little Ox.
Expect flavourful breakfasts like pear and cranberry bread with honey mascarpone ($8.50), Mexican spiced tomato and corn salsa hard taco’s with avocado, coriander and scrambled eggs ($16), gourmet sandwiches with fries and aoili ($15.50-$19), as well as mediterranean salads ($16.50-$18.50) and European mains with a twist like pan fried Gnocchi ($18.50) and English style pork sausage, confit garlic mash, caramelised onions and beef jus ($19). It also doubles as a providore with delicious jams, relishes and pickled goods, sweet things, snacks and pre-prepared dinners to take home with you. Alongside one of the world’s top 100 restaurants Attica, we sense that some more great food magic will spawn from this melting pot.
