Dine Smart 2018
When you eat out or go for drinks this festive season – drink and dine for a worthy cause. Here you’ll find this year’s participating Dine Smart restaurants country-wide.
For those of you who have been following DC for a little while or have purchased our Melbourne for Conscious Foodies food guide, you’ll already be familiar with the Dine Smart initiative. It’s a very unique partnership with leading restaurants, and has been around since 2003 – chances are you’ve already donated before or seen the yellow Dine Smart cards while dining.
Throughout the Dine Smart period (November to December each year), by simply adding a small donation to your bill at one of the participating restaurants below, 85% of your donation to the restaurant bill will be distributed locally, directly to people who are homeless or at risk, as well as supporting ideas like Crepes for Change (Society Melbourne).
I can’t think of a better way to get into the Christmas spirit! Make your Christmas catch up this year at one of the restaurants below.
