conscious-christmas-gifts-2016-cover-final

Christmas is such a special time. I love the traditions and the excitement that builds in the lead up. It is also a time where people seem to embrace this concept of giving. When I was in primary school, the festive period was a time when we were also made aware of others less fortunate than us. The school would organise a collection of non-perishable goods which were then given to the Sacred Heart Mission and distributed to those the Mission supported, particularly for use at their Christmas Day lunch. I loved this tradition and gathering tins and little items that I thought others might like too.

In this spirit of giving, I’ve put together a small list of gift ideas that give back – which I will be updating in the lead up to Christmas. These are all gifts that in some way give back twice, benefitting not only the gift recipient but the environment or animals, people crippled with illness, or those that are experiencing hard times.

If you’ve come across other conscious Christmas gifts and think they should be included here, let me know! info@decisivecravings.com.au
